Artento Divini
At the age of 19 the young and enthusiastic Ard Schilderink discovers the world of house music after being a successful cyclist and seeing many parts of Europe. His love for four measured beats starts to grow on him and resulted in buying his very own pair of turntables. Just like every DJ he started practicing the art of mixing, which lead to competing in several mixing contests and, even more important, conquering these gauntlets. In 2002 Artento headlined the Brazilian festival Eco System and ended up touring this country for over three months and playing in various small clubs.
Trying out different styles of music, soon Artento Divini developed his own sound, a mixture of minimal rhythms, trancy influences and rough driving sounds. In 2006 Artento and his former partner in crime Melvin Warning added a new chapter to his starshooting career by producing the massive clubhit ‘4LB’. Played at Sensation White by Tiesto and Armin van Buuren at Dance Valley, the impact of this first release was extremely big.
At some point Divini and Warning both decided to pick up their solo careers again and separated ways. Artento's first solorelease 'Pulse' did quite good, but his 'Reflex' established Artento Divini's name within the scene. After being picked up by Sander van Doorn this future classic it get stuck at the number two spot of the Beatport-charts for several weeks. Dutch superstar DJ Jochen Miller and Artento Divini teamed up in the studio for the Emporium anthem 2008, which was signed by Cloud 9 Dance’s Dedicated Records. After the success of 'One Way' they decided to collaborate on more productions. Their new release on Dedicated Records is called 'Many Years' and will be released early 2009.
