Each year a couple of new dance-artists are introduced and heralded as the next big thing in house music. Few of these newcomers, however, can live up to the high expectations. With Hardwell we found the exception to the rule; this Dutch youngster can be regarded as the ultimate house-talent around! Only 21 years old, Hardwell has already gathered much experience both behind the decks and in the studio. With an enormous amount of DJ-gigs both in Holland and abroad, the successful Eclectic Beatz mix-compilation series, and a steady flow of powerful releases that have received support from all the big DJ’s out there, Hardwell is here to stay!

So what’s next for the only 21 year old supertalent? Well, the Dance Valley Anthem 2009 of course! As one of the first dance festivals in the world, the 15th edition of Dance Valley will take place Saturday the 11th of July in Spaarnwoude, near Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Previous editions had amazing anthems by artists such as Laidback Luke, Ferry Corsten, Michel de Hey and Secret Cinema, so Hardwell is in good company with his brand new theme song ‘Twilight Zone’! The track is the perfect example of Hardwell’s own style: a proper mixture of house, techno and progressive elements, which come together to create a euphoric dancefloor bomb.
